Shaheen, Chinese diplomat discuss bilateral relations

KABUL (Pajhwok): The head of the Islamic Emirate’s political office in Doha and Chargé D’affaires of China to Qatar have discussed bilateral relations and some other topics of interest.

Suhail Shaheen wrote on his X handle: “Today, in Doha, my team and I met Mr Chen Yue, Chargé D’affaires of China to the State of Qatar.”

He said they discussed bilateral relations, Chinese investment in the country, humanitarian assistance, and ban on poppy cultivation, anti-narcotics efforts and other topics of interest.

Chinese Special Envoy for Afghanistan Yue Xiaoyong in a meeting with Foreign Minister Maulvi Amir Khan Muttaqi said that China has exempted tariff on majority goods imported from Afghanistan as to promote trade growth between the two countries.
