KABUL (Pajhwok): Iranian authorities have announced the killing of a senior adviser to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in an Israeli airstrike in Syria.
The semi-official Tasnim news agency reported the incident and published a condolence message from Iranian President Mohammad Ibrahim Raisi.
Raisi said the murder of IRGC Adviser Sayed Razi Mousavi indicated the Israeli forces were desperate after facing failures in the region.
Raisi threatened Israel would soon pay for its provocative action.
