5 of a family killed in Ghazni gas asphyxiation

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Five peopleof a family have lost their lives to gas asphyxiation in southern Ghazni province, an official said on Thursday.

Director of Information and Culture Mansour Afghan told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident happened in a house in the Ghaib Qalandar area of Ghazni City late Wednesday night.

The victims, including a woman, her husband and their three children under five years of age, were from the same family, he said.

Every winter, such incidents happen in different parts of the country. Eight people had been killed in two separate a asphyxiation incidents in Ghazni last year.
