KABUL (Pajhwok): Renowned Pakistani religious and political leader Mawlana Fazal Rahman has said that he will travel to Afghanistan after elections.
Head of the Jamiat-i-Ulama Party told reporters that currently he was busy in election campaign in Pakistan and added his trip to the neighbouring country will take place after election.
He said during his trip he will talk about the mistrust between the two countries.
“Sometimes there are problems, for me the security of Pakistan and Afghanistan was important, our foreign policies should be based on developing mutual interest and in this regard the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan extended a formal invitation to me,” he said.
This comes that earlier, Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, said that Mawlana Fazal Rahman could play his role in preventing negative propaganda against Afghanistan in Pakistan.
