5 Afghans found dead on Poland-Belarus border

ATLANTA (Pajhwok): Five Afghan migrants’ bodies have been found on the Poland-Belarus border, media reports said on Sunday.

The bodies of the migrants were taken to a hospital in Belarus by security personnel, Azadi Radio reported.

A member of the Afghan Council in Belarus said the corpses had been in the hospital over the last few days and their family members were yet to be found.

According to the report, these refugees wanted to go to Poland or Western Europe through Belarus and lost their lives due to severe cold.

Their names and identities have not been ascertained yet.
