LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Eight people have been arrested with hundreds of kilograms of narcotics in Greshk district of southern Helmand province, police said on Tuesday.
Police spokesman Mullah Ezatullah Haqqani told Pajhwok Afghan News the narcotics seized included 137kg of shisha, 500kg sood and two kg of hashish.
He said the detainees faced charges of smuggling and selling narcotics and they would be produced before a court after an ongoing investigation.
