KABUL (Pajhwok): Sar-i-Pul on Friday won the title of the 5th round of the National Buzkashi League after defeating defending champion Samangan 3-1.
The final Buzkashi — Goat dragging — championship in the capital Kabul was played between Samangan and Sar-i-Pul on Friday morning.
This season’s league featured 12 teams from various provinces, competing in four groups in Kabul.
The championship began on December 25, 2023 in Kabul in which teams from Kandahar, Panjshir, Takhar, Samangan, Logar, Badakhshan, Kunduz, Balkh, Bamyan and Maidan Wardak took part.
