GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): The Municipality of southern Ghazni province on Sunday announced completion of 15 public welfare projects at a cost of 11.3 million afghanis in the province.
Mayor of Ghazni City Maulvi Muhammad Nabi Hamza in the inauguration ceremony said these projects were implemented for the purpose of providing urban services and facilities to the residents.
The projects included construction of a bridge, a toilet for males and females and 13 streets.
He said these projects, funded by the Ghazni Municipality at a cost of 11.3 million afghanis and was completed in six months.
Local residents praised the implementation of the projects and expressed happiness.
Jailani, a tribal leader of Ghazni city told Pajhwok Afghan News they were happy over the implementation of these projects and they would solve many problems.
