China pledges RBM100m to Afghanistan in humanitarian aid

KABUL (Pajhwok): Chinese Ambassador to Afghanistan Zhao Xing has pledged RBM 100 million humanitarian material assistances to Afghanistan, according to a statement on Sunday.

Ambassador Xing on his Twitter handle wrote: “China will provide emergency humanitarian material assistance worth RMB 100 million to Afghanistan, Hope these assistance will help Afghan people tide over the difficulties.”

He also met with Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi and exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation.

Ambassador Xing also wrote: “On January 11th, I met with Hassan Kazemi Qomi, Iran President’s special envoy and ambassador to Afghanistan and exchanged views on situation in Afghanistan.”
