KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) says it has referred dozens of children with congenital heart defects (CHDs) to Kabul hospitals for treatment.
ARCS wrote on its X handle it had introduced 65 children suffering from heart disease to different hospitals in the capital for treatment.
The cost of treatment of the children will be paid by ARCS.
A total of 2,737 children with heart defects have been referred by ARCS in the past 18 months to Kabul hospitals for treatment.
