PARON (Pajhwok): As many as 58 development projects have been executed at a cost of nearly 80 million afghanis in eastern Nuristan province.
The Department of Public Works said in a statement the United Nations Office for Project Services-funded schemes had been put into service in Noorgram district.
The statement quoted Rural Rehabilitation and Development Director Maulvi Ehsanullah Ahmad as saying: “The schemes haves been completed at a cost of nearly 80 million afghanis.”
The schemes included construction of 36 roads, 13 canals and construction of 18 toilets, Ahmad added.
