MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): Security forces have recovered and seized dozens kilograms of narcotics in Mazar-i-Sharif city, the capital of northern Balkh province, an official said on Friday.
Police spokesman Mohammad Asif Waziri told Pajhwok Afghan News that different types of narcotics seized from various areas during special operations.
The drugs included 36 kilograms of opium, 56 kilograms of hashish, 45 kilograms of F powder, 3 kilograms of crystal meth, 5,000 tablets, and 120 liters of alcohol.
According to Waziri, two suspects were arrested in connection with the drugs and their cases referred to relevant organs.
