KABUL (Pajhwok): Two people have been killed and three others wounded in two separate incidents of violence in western Farah and northern Baghlan provinces.
In a statement, Farah police said that one individual was stabbed to death and three others wounded in second police district of the provincial capital on Friday night.
According to the statement, all the suspects involved in the incident were arrested, but Naseer Ahmad, who allegedly committed the crime, has managed to flee the area.
In Baghlan, a person named Sharifullah was shot dead in a clash in Masan village of Jelga district on Friday, police spokesman said.
Shabbir Ahmad Burhani added a suspect had been arrested in connection with the murder.
The motives behind these two incidents were not known.
Two days ago, four people were killed as a result of clash during a volleyball game in Alishang district of Laghman province.
