Kabul market fire causes financial losses: Police

KABUL (Pajhwok): A fire broke out at a the Lycee Maryam market in Kabul, inflicting financial losses on shopkeepers, an official said on Sunday.

Police spokesman Khalid Zadran told Pajhwok Afghan News the fire erupted at the market in 11st district of Kabul at 8:00pm on Saturday..

He said firefighters rushed to the area immediately and extinguished the blaze.

Fortunately, the fire caused no casualties. Zadran said he would share more information about the incident later on.
