KABUL (Pajhwok): Four survivors of the Russian plane crash have been transferred to Kabul from northeastern Badakhshan province, an official said on Monday.
The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation on Sunday said that a Russian private jet traveling from India to Tashken crashed in Kuf Aab district and four of its crew were rescued and efforts were underway to find the rest.
Khan Mohammad Haji Asad, head of the Governor Office, said the plane crashed in Padio village of Kufab district.
He said two pilots were killed and four other passengers survived the crash and they were currently with security forces.
Zabihullah Mujahid, chief spokesman of the IEA, wrote on his X handle the four survivors had been transferred to Kabul from Badakhshan.
He added medical and rescue teams of the Ministry of Aviation and Defense provided first aid to the survivors.
