He made the remarks during a meeting with the European Union Charge d'Affaires Raffaella Iodice in his office, the Presidential Palace wrote on its X handle.
The deputy premier claimed corruption, drugs and violence had been eliminated and Daesh defeated in Afghanistan.
Kabir emphasised on the necessity of providing essential support to Afghanistan in areas of healthcare, education and infrastructure development.
He appreciated the EU for its assistance to Afghan refugees and condemned Pakistan’s action against them as a violation of international laws.
For his part, Iodice expressed her satisfaction with the overall security situation in Afghanistan.
She highlighted the continuation of EU aid, saying humanitarian assistance was reaching the Afghan families in need without concerns of corruption.
Iodice stressed the importance of the international community’s assistance in addressing the impact of climate change, recognising Afghanistan as a victim.
The diplomat underlined the need for further development of ties between Afghanistan and EU. She believed the Afghan people still required humanitarian aid.
