BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): The governor of central Bamyan province Mawlavi Abdullah Sarhadi during a meeting with Deputy Iranian Ambassador Syed Hassan Mortazavi discussed Tehran’s cooperation in healthcare sector and strengthening of relationship between the two counties, according to a statement on Tuesday.
Iranian envoy hailed the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) efforts towards the completion of 120-bed Imam Khumaini Hospital and said the hospital will be soon opened.
He emphasized over strengthening diplomatic relations and all-round cooperation between Kabul and Tehran and added that Iran wanted to establish friendly relations with Afghanistan and is ready for any kind of friendly cooperation in various sectors, especially in the economic and health sectors in Afghanistan.
He said Afghanistan and Iran’s joint enemies strived to fuel sectarian divisions among people.
Governor Sarhadi said acting Afghan government wanted friendly relationship between the two nations and was interested to further promote relationship between the two neighboring counties.
He believed with the opening of 120-bed Imam Khumaini Hospital most health related issues of local people would be addressed.
He added the provincial administration shared the issue with the Office of PM Economic Aide and this facility would be soon opened for the people.
