Azizi stresses more facilities for businessmen in provinces

KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Commerce and Industry Minister Nooruddin Azizi has asked government officials to work beyond official duty time to serve the people and provide more facilities to industrialists and traders on provincial level.

Azizi was addressing a three-day seminar that concluded on Tuesday, where provincial officials participated and spelled out their achievements and shared problems with higher authorities.

They shared in detail information about their offices and explained their achievements.

A statement from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MoIC) quoted Azizi as telling provincial directors: “We should be more focused on additional duties and try to serve as much as we can this bereaved nation.”

Referring to the recommendations of the Supreme Leader of Islamic Emirate (IEA), Azizi emphasized that there should not be any gap between the officials and the nation. He  stressed provision of more facilities to industralists on on provincial level.

About the importance of media, Azizi asked the officials to support the media and stressed sharing more information with the people through the media.

Deputy commerce and industry minister Maulvi Qudratullah Jamal asked the participants of the seminar to implement in their provinces what they learnt here.

Jamal said: “Although this is a heavy responsibility, it is a blessing from Allah Almighty who uses us and you under the leadership of this Islamic system for Islam and this system.”

The seminar participants said such efforts would further strengthen coordination between the government and provincial offices which would eventually reflect a fair image of good governance.
