PARAKH (Pajhwok): Residents of Paryan district in central Panjsher province say they are happy with the provision of 3G internet service.
It comes 10 months after Pajhwok Afghan News quoted residents of Hisa-i-Awal, Abshar and Paryan districts as complaining about the lack of internet services and said they had to climb to mountains to access internet or pay hundreds of afghanis to travel to a place to solve their problem.
Abdul Hameed Noori, Panjsher information technology director, told Pajhwok that the residents of Paryan benefited from 3G internet service by AWCC firm.
Last week, the residents of Hisa-i-Awal district also benefited from internet service.
Noori said currently only Abshar district residents had no access to the internet, but the Information Technology department was striving to provide them internet service in solar year 1403.
Ramesh Anwari, a resident of Chamal Peryan village, expressed his satisfaction with access to the Inrternet and said: "Whenever we needed the Internet, we would travel to the provincial capital by paying 500 afghanis transport fare or climb mountains. Now our his problem has been solved."
