KABUL (Pajhwok): Kyrgyzstan is ready to invest in Afghanistan by taking advantage of available opportunities, the country’s visiting economy and commerce minister says.
The Presidential Palace on its X page wrote deputy prime minister for administrative affairs Maulvi Abdul Salam Hanafi met yesterday with Kyrgyzstan minister of economy and commerce Daniyar Amangeldiev.
Daniyar said security and peace had strengthened in Afghanistan after the Islamic Emirate’s return and cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan established in various fields, especially trade.
He said his country was ready to invest in various fields in Afghanistan taking advantage of the available opportunities.
Daniyar said Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan enjoyed extensive relations in historical, cultural, political and economic fields and both countries wanted to expand their relations in the future.
Abdul Salam Hanafi said relations between Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan were strong and these ties could be further strengthened.
He said peace and security had been restored in Afghanistan and the way was paved for investment in industry, trade, transit, mining, energy, agriculture, technology and other fields.
He said the interim administration had provided facilities to businessmen and investors and Kyrgyz businessmen should invest in the country by using available opportunities.
Hanafi said Afghanistan desired good relations and interaction with all its neighbors, region and the world and would not allow anyone to threaten its neighbors and other countries from Afghan soil.
