KABUL (Pajhwok): Free media advocacy group NAI has announced temporarily suspending its activities in Afghanistan.
NAI head Mujib Rahman Khilwatgar in a video message said the organization in its last meeting decided to temporarily stop its activities in Afghanistan.
He said the decision was taken in the light of political situation and unfavorable conditions in Afghanistan.
He said that after the release of the video, no one could represent the organization in Afghanistan. Reasons for suspending NAI activities would be shared with the media later.
NAI, an independent media support agency, has been operating in Afghanistan since last 17 years.
