KABUL (Pajhwok): A French investor and a delegation accompanying him have evinced keen interest in constructing mineral testing laboratories in Afghanistan.
Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum Sheikh Shahabuddin Dilawar met with French delegation headed by Raphael Chahbaud in his office, the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum (MoMP) wrote on its X handle.
Dilawar said: “Security has been ensured across the country after the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA). We have good ties with all countries, especially with neighbours. Afghanistan is a country rich in mineral resources.”
All foreign capitalists were welcome to invest in different sectors in Afghanistan, commented Dilawar, who assured investors of all possible cooperation.
A French investor expressed his satisfaction with overall security and stability in Afghanistan and evinced keen interest in construction of mineral testing laboratories.
Earlier, investors from different countries had shown interest to invest in Afghanistan’s mining sector.
