15 killed, dozens injured in Balochistan attacks

ATLANTA (Pajhwok): Fifteen people have been killed and dozens injured as a result of armed attacks and explosions in the Balochistan province of Pakistan, a media report said on Wednesday.

The explosion targeted an election campaign gathering of the Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf party in the Sibi area of Balochistan.

Geo News quoted a police official as saying four people had been killed and nine others injured in an explosion.
The parliamentary election is scheduled be held on February 8 this year in Pakistan.

On the other hand, four soldiers and seven attackers were killed in a mass attack in the Mach area of Bolan district, the military announced.

The military said the army repulsed the attackers and many suicide bombers were killed.
Videos on social media showed Baloch militants being arrested by soldiers and their vehicles set alight..
