Baghlan traffic accident leaves 1 dead, another injured

PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): One person was killed and a second wounded as a result of traffic accident in northern Baghlan province on Wednesday, police official said.

Police spokesman Maulavi Sher Ahmad Burhani told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident took place in northern Salan Doshakh area of Khanjan district today morning.

The accident happened after a car plunged into a ditch, killing the driver and injuring another one, he said, blaming the incident on carelessness of the driver.
