KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) says the Silk Road Company is willing to invest in generating hydro and wind power in Afghanistan.
Acting Minister of Commerce and Industry Nooruddin Azizi met officials of the company in his office, MoCI said in a statement.
Azizi said MoCI supported investments from all firms in Afghanistan and was ready to provide them all possible facilities.
The Silk Road Company is a joint venture of Kazakh and Afghan investors, focused on power generation and imports of gas and oil.
