‘Relationship with intel community normalized’

PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) relationship with the International community has normalized now comparing to the past, an official said on Friday.

Deputy Prime Minister Mawlavi Abdul Kabir told a gathering in central Logar province that IEA established formal relationship with 17 countries of the region and these relationships had improved at the moment comparing to the past.

He said: “The IEA system is not only for the Taliban but for all Afghans and all should strongly defend this system.”

He said economic relationships with the neighbouring countries had improved and government generated funds for the annual budget from its own resources.

Haji Obaidullah, one of the gathering participants, said that IEA should launch work on national projects, release usurped public land and should address unemployment and economic problems of the people.

Earlier the deputy prime minister held meetings with the masses in Khost and Paktia provinces and stressed over the eradication of gap between government and people.
