FAIZABAD/ MAIDAN SHAHR (Pajhwok): At least four people have been killed and 10 others wounded in two separate traffic accidents in northeastern Badakhshan and central Maidan Wardak provinces.
Badakhshan police spokesman Ehsanullah Kamgar told Pajhwok Afghan News that a traffic accident occurred in the Ishkashan area of Argo district on Saturday afternoon.
He said a three-year-old child was died and seven others wounded. Four women and two children were among the injured.
In Maidan Wardak, three people were killed and as many wounded after a corolla car and 580-modle passenger bus collided in the Aziz Qala area of Sayedabad district on Saturday.
Police headquarters said the injured were evacuated to the provincial hospital for medical treatment by security forces and their condition was said to be critical.
