Germany gives Afghanistan 5m euros in humanitarian aid

KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Afghanistan says Germany has contributed five million euros to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund (AHF).

OCHA wrote on its X handle: “Thank you #Germany for an additional contribution of EUR 5 million (US$5.4 million) to the #AfghanistanHumanitarianFund 2023-24.”

It said since 2014, Germany had contributed 210 million euros to the #AHF.

Earlier, Germany contributed the same amount aid to the AHF.
