PARON (Pajhwok): A man, who allegedly killed three members of a family and injured a fourth in Noorgram district of eastern Nuristan province, has been arrested, an official said Tuesday.
Noorgram district police chief Mohammad Younas Akhundzada told Pajhwok Afghan News the gruesome incident took place in Baba Qala area on Monday afternoon.
He blamed the incident on an old enmity and said a man, his wife and a minor daughter were killed and another child injured.
The accused has been arrested by security forces and would be handed over to judicial organs after preliminary investigation.
Such incidents recently happened in Logar and Balkh provinces.
