Japan urged to help boost Afghan education system

KABUL (Pajhwok): The acting higher education minister has asked Japanese charge d’affaires to project Afghanistan’s real image globally and support its education sector.

Higher Education Ministry’s spokesman Hafiz Ziaullah Hashimi wrote on X Wednesday Minister Neda Mohammad Nadeem issued the call at a meeting with Ambassador Takeyoshi Kuramaya

Nadeem noted Afghanistan and Japan enjoyed robust and cooperative relations.

He urged the Japanese diplomat to help Afghanistan in strengthening the education system of the country, Hashimi said.

The acting education minister also asked the charge d’affaires to share he real image of Afghanistan with the world.

The diplomat expressed Japan’s readiness to help Afghanistan in emergency and crisis situations.

The Japanese diplomat promised to provide Afghanistan with humanitarian aid and implement some infrastructure development projects.
