FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): One person was killed and another sustained burn injuries after a fuel tanker caught fire and exploded in western Ghor province, police said on Thursday.
Police spokesman Abdul Rahman Badri told Pajhwok Afghan News the oil tanker caught fire during wielding works this morning.
He said: “A young man, Kamal, a resident of southeastern Paktia province, has been killed and Abdullah, a resident of Khafak village of Charsada district in Ghor province, injured in the explosion”.
The injured man was evacuated to the provincial hospital for treatment, Badri added.
