Narcotics processing lab destroyed in Helmand

LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Security forces have recovered and destroyed a narcotics processing factory in Kajaki district of southern Helmand province, an official said on Sunday.

Police spokesman Mullah Ezatullah Haqqani told Pajhwok Afghan News that the counter-narcotics personnel raided the drug-processing lab in Shiri area of the district.

He said 40 kilograms of soda, 50 litres of diesel, 240 kilograms of ephedra and 40 kilograms of other drugs were seized from the factory and set alight.
