FARAH/JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Three water supply and irrigation projects worth nearly 11 million afs have been completed and put into use in western Farah and eastern Nangarhar provinces.
Farah Information and Culture department in a statement said a clean drinking water supply project costing 7. 6 million afghanis was executed in Khak-i-Safid district.
Funded by the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), the water scheme took six months to complete, benefitting 460 families.
In Nangarhar, an irrigation water canal was constructed in Rodat district at a cost of more than three million afghanis.
