14-year-old boy rescued from kidnappers in Ghazni

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): A 14-year-old child has been rescued from his kidnappers in the Andar district of southern Ghazni province, police official said on Saturday.

Police spokesman Abu Khalid Sarhadi told Pajhwok Afghan News that the security forces had rescued the children from abductors in Yargato area of the district.

According to him, the rescued boy is hailing from Khas Uruzgan district of Uruzgan province.

He said the kidnappers had managed to flee the area but a manhunt had been launched for their arrest.
