CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): The Salang highway that connects Kabul with northern provinces was closed for trailer vehicles due to heavy snowfall, and official said on Sunday.
Salang maintenance chief Maulvi Abdul Halim Agha told Pajhwok Afghan News the highway was closed due to heavy snowfall on Saturday evening.
He said small vehicles were allowed to move in both directions except cargo trucks.
