PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is constructing new buildings for 12 schools in the new academic year in central Logar province, an official said on Tuesday.
Logar Education Department spokesman Shahpur Arab told Pajhwok Afghan News these schools were located in Pul-i-Alam, Baraki Barak, Mohammad Agha and Charkh districts.
He said students of these schools were currently studying under the open sky or in rented houses.
He added: “New buildings would be constructed for these schools with financial support of UNICEF in the first six months of new academic year . . .
