KABUL (Pajhwok): A woman in central Maidan Wardak province has given birth to quadruplets, with two of the babies in good health and as many ending up in the ICU.
Provincial Hospital Director Dr Mohammad Ashraf Majeed told Pajhwok Afghan News woman had given birth to three baby girls and a boy in the Badam area of Nirkh district.
“Two of the babies are in good health and two others are currently in the intensive care unit of pediatric ward,” he said.
According to Dr. Majeed, the babies were born normally. The woman previously had only one daughter, he said.
