2 killed, 10 wounded in Helmand collision

LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Two women have been killed and 10 others were injured as a result of traffic accident in Nahr-i-Siraj district of southern Helmand province, an official said on Thursday.

Deputy Director of Information and Culture Maulavi Sher Mohammad Wahdat told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident took place on Helmand-Kandahar highway in Shindak Manda area of the district on Wednesday.

He said two people were killed and 10 others wounded after a motorcycle and a car collided with a cargo truck.

According to him, the injured were shifted to Bost hospital in Lashkargah for medical treatment.
