KABUL (Pajhwok): A technical delegation comprising representatives from several departments has left Kabul for Iran to discuss issues agreed during Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar’s recent visit to the neighboring country, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) said on Saturday.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry wrote on its X handle that the technical delegation included representatives from the deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs office and ministries of transport, foreign affairs and finance.
The delegation would discuss implementation of issues that Mullah Baradar had agreed in his recent visit to Iran.
A high-level delegation led by Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar visited Iran on November 4 following an official invitation from the neighboring country.
Mullah Baradar discussed bilateral relations, trade, transit, transportation, infrastructure, railways, regional connectivity and ways to increase trade volume via Chabahar port with Iranian officials.
