25 crime suspects detained in Kabul, provinces: MoI

KABUL (Pajhwok): Security forces have arrested 25 suspects in connection with various crimes in Kabul and seven other provinces.

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) wrote on its X handle anti-narcotics police arrested 12 persons for selling and trafficking drugs in some districts of Kabul.

It said: “Security forces seized 5,737 capsules of narcotics and some hashish from the detainees.”

Separately, security forces arrested 13 people on charges of theft, smuggling and disturbing public order in last 24 hours in seven provinces of the country.

“A three-member gang of professional robbers was arrested with 100,000 afghanis and some other goods in Herat, four robber with a vehicle in Zabul, one armed man, who has disturbed public order in Kunduz, two thieves in Paktia and two in Kandahar provinces,” the ministry concluded.
