5 narcotics processing labs destroyed; 6 suspects held in Helmand

LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Five narcotics processing factories have been found and destroyed and six people have been arrested in connection with the factory in southern Helmand province, police official said on Tuesday.

Police spokesman Mullah Ezatullah Haqqani told Pajhwok Afghan News that counter-narcotics department destroyed five drug processing labs in Bahramcha district.

He said 1,057 kilogram of drugs was destroyed in drug factories and six people had been arrested in connection with the factories.

The detainees were introduced to judiciary organs, Haqqani added.
