UK provides $1.3m in aid to Afghanistan

KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Kingdon (UK) has contributed $1.3 million to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund (AHF), the United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said on Thursday.

In a post on X, OCHA wrote: “Thank you, #UnitedKingdom 🇬🇧 for your additional contribution of 1 million GBP (US$1.3 million) to the #AfghanistanHumanitarianFund.”

The UK donated £28.7 million to the needy people in Afghanistan through the United Nations World Food Programme recently.
