4 education centres to be established for special persons

KABUL (Pajhwok): Four special educational centers will be created in as many provinces of the country to support people with hearing and vision disabilities, according to a statement on Saturday.

Technical Vocational Training and Education Authority (TVTEA) in a statement said these centres would be established in Takhar, Jawzjan, Faryab and Helmand provinces.

The source said the purpose of establishing these special educational centers in the mentioned provinces is to support deaf and blind people.

TVTEA said 371 educational and professional centres were active nationwide out of which 16 centres were for people hearing and vision disabilities.
