GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Eight people have been killed and 30 others injured as a result of traffic accident on Kabul-Kandahar highway in southern Ghazni province, an official said on Wednesday.
Police spokesman Abu Khalid Sarhadi told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident took place in Nani market of Ghanzi city after 404-model passenger bus collided with Mazda type vehicle on Tuesday night.
He said eight people were killed and 30 more wounded in the overnight collision. The injured were evacuated to civil hospital for medical treatment, Sarhadi added.
Traveling to Kandahar province, he said the victims were hailing from different provinces.
