Noor-ul-Jihad substation project discussed with Turkmenistan: DABS

KABUL (Pajhwok): Officials from Afghanistan and Turkmenistan have discussed the acceleration of the work process of the Noor-ul-Jihad substation in western Herat province.

In a post on X, Da Afghanistan Breshna Shirkat wrote that a meeting was held with officials from Turkmenistan and diplomats in Kabul on Noor-ul-Jihad substation and electricity transmission development project.

Both sides discussed the delivery of necessary equipment, extension of the deadline for completing the remaining work on the project, and acceleration of the work process.

According to the power utility, a technical meeting will be held and its outcome to be shared with Turkmenistan and a joint agreement will be inked in this regard.
