Ramadan Cup futsal tournament kicks off in Daikundi

NEILI (Pajhwok): A futsal tournament titled ‘Ramazan Cup” and featuring 48 teams has begun in central Daikundi province, an official said on Monday.

Nasir Haqiqat, the director of physical training and sports of Daikundi, told Pajhwok Afghan News the tournament had commenced at the municipal sports gymnasium in cooperation with the physical training department in Neili City.

According to him, this tournament will continue for one month.

The purpose of holding this tournament is to respect the holy month of Ramadan, to encourage the youth to play sports, to grow and develop Futsal and to create unity and empathy among the youth.
