Above 1,800 families distributed food aid in Logar, Khost

KABUL (Pajhwok): More than 1,800 families have been distributed food aid in Logar and Khost provinces.

In Logar province, 1050 families were given away food items in Mohammad Agha and Baraki Barak districts.

Logar Rural Rehabilitation and Development department spokesman Sibghatullah Naibkhel told Pajhwok the United Nations World Food Program had donated the aid.

He said each family received 50 kilograms of flour, 10 liters of oil, six kilograms of pulses and an amount of children’s food.

In Khost, 800 disabled and family members of martyrs were distributed food items with financial support of a charitable organization.

Abdul Rahim Ihsan, head of Khost’s Martyrs and Disabled Affairs, said the assistance included various food items.
