Drugs seized, 4 suspects arrested in Paktia

GARDEZ (Pajhwok): Police have seized around 3,000 tablets-K, 50 kilograms of hashish and one kilogram of methane ice in Gardez, the capital of southeastern Paktia province.

Police spokesman Muneeb Zadran told Pajhwok on Friday the drugs were recovered from two Corolla vehicles.

Second security district police personnel also arrested four suspects in connection with the drugs based on intelligence report.

Zadran said the detainees wanted to transfer the drugs from one place to another in Gardez.

He said one of them had brought tablets-K and other drugs from Turkey to the country.
