Judge, daughter gunned down in Ghor

FEROZKOH (Pajhwok):  An appeal court judge and his seven-year-old daughter have been gunned down by unknown assailants in this capital city of western Ghor province.

Ghor police spokesman Maulvi Abdul Rahman Badri told Pajhwok: “Judge Mufti Muhammad Juma was busy reciting the Holy Quran with his daughter when unidentified gunmen martyred them.”

After the incident, detective and intelligence forces reached the scene and arrested two suspects and two more suspects are being chased, he said.

Badri said the arrested men were being investigated to clarify the case. He also said it was not known yet why the incident occurred.
