Spain contributes EUR 1 million to AHF

KABUL (Pajhwok): Spain has provided one million EUR to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund (AHF), the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) in Afghanistan said on Monday.

On its Twitter handle, the UNOCHA thanked Spain for its first contribution and said: “Thank you #Spain for your contribution of EUR 1 million (US$ 1.06 million) to the #AfghanistanHumanitarianFund for 2023-2024.”

Earlier, UNOCHA on its twitter handle wrote: “Today marks 10 years of the #AfghanistanHumanitarianFund (AHF)! A decade of making a difference! Thanks to all our donors & partners for their $1 billion+ contributions to the AHF. Your generosity has been the driving force behind our success.
